Trying to control Motosat controller hardware ("upgraded" to Don Marr JSM-D3) directly
from the computer, bypassing internal tuner-related functionality. Signal strength
will be received directly form the modem (Hughes NH7000S) - the Motosat D3 internal
tuner can not detect 99W satellite that we need.
Eventually this project will not rely on existing hardware (using something like
Raspberry Pi and a custom board) with dual GPS compass INS, so the dish will point
very close to the required satellite and peak using modem only. No satellite tables,
level ground requirement and stupid 360 scans.
Initially the existing controller will be used to control dish motors by emulating
manual motors control and read signal strength from the modem (JSM-D3 allows to do
that through convenient xml file, but it may add extra latency - not yet measured).
